Hot Take: Gen 7 wasn’t really all that bad

Alola is a great region and there were a lot of memorable and great characters and Pokémon. The story was fun and a nice change of pace. The gen 7 games were the last "true" Pokémon games that captured the original essence of what Pokémon was about (Legends Arceus came pretty close).

I just want to buy pokemon cards from the pokemon store on amazon but they are all out of stock and you have to request an invite, which apparently takes up to 6 months or more and then when they send it you only have a 72hour window to purchase. Why don't they just make more cards?
