Managed to hit M20 on GGEX last week on the Mewtwo event. Had to spend all 4 of my saved whistles and buy 3 more in the shop but at least I'm done with it. Honestly, it was pretty iconic for me. My first good roll was Arcanine and Leppa berries were always my strongest berries, and that coupled with my Level 70 Espeon that I leveled up just for the event was what made this possible. And with that, I've actually decided to quit the game. It actually feels like a really good place to drop it, it felt like GGEX was the final boss and the other future EX islands are just optional postgame superbosses which I'm not really interested in grinding for. Also even though the game did help with my sleep at first, getting a POGO++ just undid everything since I could just set it down and keep using my phone anyway. I had quite a few friends from here ever since day 1 so it's a bit sad to leave, but that's life. I changed my name to Goodbye zzz so feel free to check and remove me. Sleep tight, friends.

About time to decide where to go for the cooking event. You have double pot size, +25% cooking power, and extra ingredients. Best to make use of the bonuses and get M20 somewhere you're missing if possible. Foongus/Amoonguss is boosted on Greengrass, Lapis, Amber, Expert Greengrass, and Expert Cyan, so pick one of those for best results.

The data is out. It's basically a side-grade to Quagsire as far as Mushrooms are concerned. Slightly slower, but has a slightly higher ingredient rate and neither are particularly good candidates for BFS despite strong base berries. Amoonguss gets Mushrooms/Eggs/Tomatoes, which are all useful, probably moreso than Mushroom/Potatoes/Sausages from Quagsire; and I imagine AAB, AAC, or even ABA could be useful.

It might've been something like a display bug when Heracross' skill activates, with the text display stating a higher ingredient count than what you were actually receiving or something.For now, Gengar's old ingredient gathering rate of 16.1% is still shown on Raenonx. I'm keen to see what the increase is, even if it's just up to 20%.Also, the new recipe list improvements are live. I can't check what happens for recipes you've not made yet, but the ingredient totals for recipes you're unable to make are now shown, and there are filter options for recipes you can make and ingredients you want to use.

Basic Misdreavus / Mismagius stats out. It's a skill specialist. Misdreavus has Cooking Power-Up S whilst Mismagius has Mystical Fire (Cooking Advance S). Gathers potatoes / coffee / tomatoes. They're 16 pips and 20 pips respectively. Technically cheaper to go for Misdreavus as the cost of a dusk stone is less than that of a skill seed. You're committed to evolving it for it to be useful though. Misdreavus has pretty good base helping frequency of 2400s (40m), 3.6% skill trigger base chance. For tasty chance it's strictly inferior to Heracross, but strategy wise should be important for big cooking on ordinary weeks. Level 7 main skill effect is +31 pot size and +5% tasty chance.

every day I lose a little bit more energy to "play" this game that one day we lost thanks to the maintenance felt so liberating I haven't caught a good mon (and i'm not even referring to a perfect one) I can't even get a Go++ to avoid wasting my phone's battery all night, I can just forget to charge it and it's no big deal all the new mon launches feel worse for f2p, why is misdreavus a billion pips to feed? not even mentioning all the rng it takes to get a good one it's almost depressing

Quite a morning lineup. Fed the Mismagius an Ultra Biscuit and had to. Finish up on the other one. Not really worth it... Master Biscuit'd the Raikou though. Worth it. I would have loved BFS and/or HB and/or ABC ingredients, but it's basically as good as I'll get.

The level curve is so cancerous. It will take years before we get Lv 80. People will die in their sleep before Lv 100.

Witch hat Eevee is just a little odd to make comparisons for. It's not particularly strong in any area for it to fill a niche. I guess just solely the fact that it can pick up Pumpkins as a Normal type is unique, but that doesn't really make it worth running.

This morning, a promising looking Pumpkaboo with double inventory, double ingredient finder, and ABA ingredient spread for beans / pumpkins. Compared it to my speedy shiny Quaquaval with no ingredient boosts, and it's actually WORSE for gathering beans?It might be worth investing in as an additional bean farmer with it being a beans / pumpkins farmer, though.
