I started watching a three-hour Let's Play/review video for Pong, but stopped before the opening YouTube ad was finished. What am I in for? I beat DuckTales when I was 6 years old. I think you can handle it. I was fairly advanced for my age, though. I prayed to Santa for SMB3, but he forsook me, so I was pretty disappointed with DuckTales, at first. There are some fun game mechanics with the cane, and the music is great.

I don't like this game. I find it too hard. I can only beat the castle stage. I can get further in GnG than I can in this. It's super frustrating. A lot of cheap tricks.

It's one of the best platformers of all time and a must if you love NES and/or Disney. I would at least give it a shot, as many commented in this thread, it's short and easy.If you enjoy it, don't pass on the Game Boy port, it rocks.

For whatever reason this one didn't come across my path when I was a kid, but the far more rare sequel did (I rented it and beat it, though I didn't get the true ending due to needing to find all the map pieces, and I was unable to get the last one since it required some pretty precise platforming IIRC). I've yet to really sit down and play through this one. Anyone here played through both? Which one do you prefer?
