played a fuckload of this on the family 386. "looks like he hit the tree, jim" still plays in my head regularly.
A couple years back i set up the version with like 24 extra maps or whatever and took notes on what the best courses were. ill dig it up at some point

This is really good on Master System, I'm fascinated by the programming wizardry used to fill in polygons on an 8 bit system. Mario golf and most nes golf games use a very approximate positioning of tiles to loosely mimick a 3d course.
Atari ST is very good too, its plays fast and smooth.
