Pretty impressive, not just the game but the idea that its possible to port other 68k stuff between systems like that guy attempting to port Rastan Sega 1 to Genesis. I think the A1200 is both weaker and better than Megadrive in some ways but a normal pc of the time would be a 386/33 which would only be able to do it without the far background.

If you're gonna do a single zone demo, just overhaul it and make it a giant open zone ala Frontiers. (and squeeze in 3 more big versions of other zones too if there's enough space on the Amiga) It'll still be as good as Sonic 1, just condensed and not speed running to the right.
