Nothing was saving Sega at that point. The fate of the console was already set.

the only thing the Dreamcast required be done differently was Sega not cheap out and pay the $20 license fee so it could play dvd movies.

Chakan is one of those games I always wanna like because the story is really cool and metal and the visuals and music appeal to me (especially the music in that wind stage) but man does the gameplay suck. Idk I might try it again someday but I remember the controls being really awkward and everything having shitty hit detection.
