Strategy guides are useful when they don't misrepresent fundamental information about the game. The compass rose should always be taken into account when writing directions, but many seem to treat maps as always having a cardinal north. Does this experience sound familiar for anons using any other guides, or am I going to write an angry letter to this author specifically?

Back then they didn't have Google Maps, so you really had to use your head for more than a hat rack even in the world of vidya

What's crazy to me is I've never found a complete walkthrough for this game. Meaning every walkthrough I've read is missing a few item locations. It's not a big deal since the game is already so easy but it's surprising given how popular SH2 is. Even the one on silenthillmemories.net, which is otherwise one of the best guides I've read, is missing some items.
