what are the best racing games that dont rely on speed but more on technique and style?
Buggy Boy is a classic for me, pretty chilled gameplay but really smooth and I need more. what are your favorites /vr/?

Kikstart 2 on the Commodore 64 especially with a friend, really brilliant course design and gets extra bonus points because you can design your own

Check out Street Rod for DOS. Get to wrench on your car and race or drag. Sometimes for pink slips. Really fun game. Overall not 'fast' and really depends on your parts and how you tune it up.
