The morale in Gamefreak right now must be abysmal. You can tell they were trying to blame TPC and Nintendo for their flaws, but they could be given a Rockstar budget and still botch it.

Amazing how it smelled like one of these from the outset but manchildren assumed it was going to "reclaim" pokémon for "them".

I actually played it, but got bored just before 11 hours and haven't completed it. I don't think its short, it didn't run bad and I think it looked good enough. But the gameplay sucks the boss design is awful they have second phases but when they enter the second phase they don't change their movepool. They recycle bosses, and one boss has its attack pattern as running away it was boring to fight. The golems aren't much better to fight.
What really killed it for me was the story the cut scenes suck they're boring to watch because they're just people standing still talking to each other, they are boring to listen to because the protagonist is emotionless by design making dialogue stilted and the dub isn't very good.

Game Freak are lazy hacks who don't deserve pokemon, Pokemon's success as a franchise is entirely due to Nintendo, Creatures, and the TCG and spin-off people.
