I’m genuinely worried about the future of Japanese dramas. Instead of investing in their own actors, writers, and original productions, Japanese networks seem increasingly focused on collaborating with Korean companies. Japan has so much talent and potential. I wish its networks would invest more in developing and promoting it internationally.

Really liked the first episode of Politicalupin, I haven't seen Atsuro Watabe in a while except for Suzuki=Bakudan, so it's nice to know he isn't actually an elderly man on the verge of death.

For nearly 15 years, I followed Kdramas (romance), which used to be incredible, between the OST, the aesthetic, and the romance, everything was perfect.. But since 2020, they’ve become normified, gay and judaized. The romances are as superficial as can be, and the female lead, who used to be consistently cute and shy, has transformed into an insufferable boss bitch , even hypergamous. This is the case in absolutely every K-drama now, so I’ve stopped watching them. They’ve become completely Westernized; what was once content aimed at both men and women is now geared exclusively toward a Western, feminist female roasties audience.So, here’s my question: are J-dramas worth checking out? Since I’m an incel filled with rage, the slightest sex scene drives me absolutely furious; I want a only pure romance
