did cardio, got bit by a dog
did cardio, hit winter-friction bumps that made me lose control at 24mph on freeskates and go flying and land in front of a carlifting? I strained some soft tissue once that took a couple of years to heal, but nothing serious. cardio is much more dangerous

Don't even know if it was a lifting injury because I don't know what caused it, but I strained my hip flexor and it never fully recovered

I think I have a labrum tear on my right shoulder and the AC ligament is probably damaged too. Might be due to bench pressing and OHP with bad form though it only snapped at work pushing a heavy piece of steel. Completely lost the ability to move the elbow away from the ribcage.
6 weeks later I can now move the arm but there is still a lot of apprehension lifting above the head or to the side.
Meanwhile my left shoulder is starting to feel unstable too. Did PT in the past for unstable knees and wrists, she claimed I had ligament laxity. I fucking hate this shitty fragile body.

Worst lifting injury is a torn bicep. Lesson learned: don't ego lift on fucking preacher curls. Nobody gives a shit about the number you curl anyway, keep sets in the 8-12 rep rangeMy worst worst injury is a fucked up ACL (rugby chad)

I broke my heart one summer. I was at peak fitness and approached my crush at work and just as I was about to ask her out she cut me off and started enthusiastically asking me about that cute friend of mine. My friend was skinny as fuck, chain-smoked, never exercised, had a diet of cheese balls and Diet Pepsi, and walked on his tip toes like it was painful for his heels to touch the ground.

I feel for the barbell squat meme. Listened to Ripperoe religiouly. Perfect form, working with a trainer and everything. Had one bad rep once, lost balance at the bottom and let my right side come up too quickly, instant lower back injury that will never go away and fucks with my life.It turns out loading a very heavy weight on top of your spine and tipping over to put your lower back at a massively disadvantaged position is really fucking risky! Who knew broNow I do other shit for legs. Gains are great, recovery great. Squats and deadlifts are SO overrated man

Shoulder tendonitis and/or c6 hernia. Never got an MRI because it started getting better and I have shrapnel in my face I'd have to get surgically removed first.
10/10 pain that hydromorphone couldn't even touch. Days of little to no sleep. Absolutely terrifying amount of pain. Happened end of June, only now am I easing back into lifting on a significantly scaled back rehab program.

>few years ago incline shoulder pressed 43.5kg (96lbs) dumbbells..all great until i decided to adjust my position while holding the dumbbells up. Instinctivelly used my neck(back of the head) to slightly lift my back from the bench. All good but after cooloff felt sharp pain in neck for over a month. It was twisted, took another month of light physio exercises to relieve
>inflammed knee from doing 500 bodyweight squats in literally one go without any earmup. Nothing permanent but sharpest pain i have felt
>worst - once i picked up dumbbells with plates, a pretty woman asked me.something and while i sheepishly stood there and started talking one plate fell off (someone didnt put safety back) and fell on my toe. All cool lost.Since i am 40 i have reached the point where i am way too heavy for my frame and still keep doing a ton of explosive movements or do it too heavy (miscles esily handle a lot, joints not.so much) so i often injure muself more than needed.
