Imagine if we used the land currently reserved for vegetables for something else that actually produced calories and nutrition e.g. cows, potatoes, wheat.
Why are so many great swathes of land devoted to these crops that do nothing except end up in a fat HR woman's post-lunch mayonnaise salad? If you want this green slop, grow it in your own garden. It's maddening.
