Just have one or two squares after dinner or whenever you want it.

ive been eating 20 grams a day of 90% dark chocolate, just by itself in the morning. do some research on good brands because its very high in heavy metals

It is not a meme HOWEVERBEIT you should be eating 100%

Just 1-2 small squares of 90% dark chocolate kills sweets cravings for me and I don't crave the chocolate itself because it tastes awful.

This is cooking chocolate, Nigga. Every pastry chef worth his weight in Dubai Chocolate (PBUH) knows you buy real Dark chocolate if you want your Pan with Choc to be anything but Pan with shit. This is Lindt however, so it might be ok.

I mean it's alright like... it has pretty good micros and some antioxidants. You can just buy cocoa powder and put it into your shakes or whatever to get the full benefits while avoiding added sugar.

Milk chocolate is better AND isn't chock full of heavy metals

>70%>guys should i incorporate 30% sugar into my diet
also, enjoy your lead and other assorted heavy metal poisoning

70% is still pussy territory. 90% is for real men
A
Anon03/12/26, 08:48No.77142644
70% cocoa content is not enough but at least you can get used to dark chocolate that way. Eat one or two squares when you get cravings and that's it.

>cooking chocolate
usually worse for eating directly
in terms of taste at leastalso just get pic related
tastes much better
and no sugar>meme or legit good for you
legit good
plenty of (observational & correlation) evidence
typically somewhere in the 5-20g per day range seems good>how do I incorporate it into my diet
just eat a small piece as dessert or as snack
but again, take a (added) sugar free variant with 100% cocoaor you can mix pure cocoa powder into your oatmeal

epicatechin which is found in cocoa seems INSANELY good from some preliminary studies but of course it wasn't "properly" studied so it's possible you just develop tolerance for it on something
but the insane myostatin inhibiting effects would be a game changer if they're real and lasting
the issue is you'd have to eat 100-200g of dark chocolate to get enough to replicate the amount they used in the study
I'm thinking of getting it in a supplement form, but it's not really widely available here yet and bit pricier than I like to spend fucking around with various supplements

Chocalate has around the same calories as coffee. But chocolate tastes like legit shit and fatty as fuck if you drink it pure. Just drink black coffee.

it's filled with oxalates don't eat this shit. Any benefits you get are a meme. Get plenty of vitamin C from fruit and lots of beef/seafood/dairy, and your antioxidant/nutrient needs will be met

Why not just buy pure cocoa powder and mix 20g into your morning protein shake?
A
Anon03/13/26, 16:55No.77145854
it's mostly a meme just like "a glass of wine a day is actually good for you totally for real no bamboozle" as a way to justify shit behavior
ultra dark chocolate in small amounts has decent nutrition and is a good little energy snack but people aren't buying actual dark chocolate when they say they're eating chocolate
there's 3 I like but they're obnoxious to get in stores in America
>Taza Mexicana 70% Cacao Puro>Taza Mexicana 85% Pure Dark>Scho-Ka-Kola dark
Taza has actual texture and legitimately feels like food. Taza 70% can sometimes be found at Whole Foods or a Mexican grocery store but a lot of times those places only stock the gimmick flavored versions like Almond or Cinnamon. The pepper-infused one is good though
Scho-Ka-Kola is basically impossible to find without going online

>54 replies>not one mention of flavanols
It's healthy if you have high blood pressure (like me). As one guy mentioned earlier, there was a study that showed this shit tends to have lead in it. I can't imagine it's any worse than the mercury found in tuna. The good probably outweighs the bad and the bad is mostly negligible.I eat 2 squares (20g) a day with my lunch.

Memeish. Ideally you want non-alkalized/non-dutched cocoa powder no sugar obv. It has like 50k ORAC value vs just 1500 in green tea leaves or 5-10k blueberries. Non-alkalized cocoa has less of a "chocolate" flavor and I add it to savory dishes like chili, works great.
