YesPhysically I feel better than I ever have, going into my 30's with absolutely no pain . Can run, jump, hike, swim, bike, play sports without issue and have fun. No longer get random headaches or stomachaches because my diet is clean and consistent. I am very happy with my body and enjoy finding clothes that fit well or being outside without a shirt. Before I was very self conscious and shy about it.Mentally, it's shown me what hard word really is. It's all about consistency, discipline, and patience. Gym results take months and years to notice, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try. You need to be consistent. Doesn't matter if you don't feel like working out, if you want it bad enough you will make the effort. That mentality applies to everything in life. Before I wouldn't even start something because I didn't see the point if I didn't get the end result instantly. It hasn't really helped my mental health. I'm still incredibly depressed and suicidal, but I didn't expect exercise to fix that.Socially it hasn't made much of a difference. I've met a few friends at the gym and workout with my buddies often. I already had a strong circle of friends and family, so I didn't need any help with that. The confidence boost is real though and I can see that helping people become more outgoing.Tldr; go to the gym
