How acceptable is it? Its the only way I can cook spaghetti and meatballs these days. I grind up a handful of crushed red peppers until its poweder and add it to my sauce.

Where this this idea of "not meant to be spicy" came from?

"meant"? according to whom? there are no universal rules because god does not exist.when I was in Japan I saw Tabasco at Italian restaurants and found that it was very very good in those dishes

>not supposed to be
except is is supposed to be.
all real italian recipes for red sauce start with olive oil and red pepper flakes.

1st off, no foods are meant to be spicy.
2nd, I add spiciness to damn near everything I eat. Salads, beverages, snacks, toast, you name it. It never feels like I'm doing something wrong or edgy or whatever it is you and your autism think you're doing by putting pepper in food.

All foods can be spicy.

I just grated some frozen habanero peppers onto my pizza, eating is an excuse to eat spicy. Haven't found too many good spicy desserts though

If you want it to be spicy then go ahead but personally I don't think every food needs to be spicy.

Just add less flakes.

pretty much every tomato sauce I make is spicy. I also don't give a shit about other peoples opinions about my own food preferences because I'm an adult.

That's what I call defensive cooking and eating. It's acceptable if you want more of the leftovers.

Haven't you ever heard THAT'S-A SPICY MEAT-A-BALL?

The Tabasco company outright suggests putting their garlic sauce on pizza and pasta. I've done it, and you know what? It works.

Despite all the retards talking about Tabasco for spicing things up, the actual correct choice in most cases is ground cayenne. Adds heat without altering flavor too much.

Glad im not the only one who thinks this. I love pizza but always hated my mom's spaghetti. Maybe its spaghetti noodles I hate and perhaps the sauce she used, knowing her she probably used basic tomato sauce. I haven't eaten it since really. But next time I plan to use a proper sauce and also perhaps finely diced carolina reaper or habanero.
