>use restaurant app/web site to delivery order because of the loyalty points they offer >redeem loyalty points for a free menu item >look forward to free meal >they give you 1/3 the amount of food as usual for it >have to waste time and money ordering delivery from another place nearby or cut your losses and accept a tiny meal for the day Wtf is this shit? I feel like someone promised me a beer and served me piss. Fuck these places. Why offer rewards at all if you're going to leave your "loyal" customers feeling swindled?

This happened to me once. Not with a loyalty reward but with a steep discount on boneless wings. Was like 20 boneless wings for 12 dollars or something and they're normally almost a dollar each. I picked my order up and took it home and I opened the wings container and it was like the pile of tiny chicken chunks from the bottom of the bag when all of the actual boneless wings are gone. I could have fit the entire "20 wings" in one hand. I wasn't even angry I was just sad.

This happened to me once I ordered from my usual Indian place what instead of cash I used my points. The serving size was really small about half of what I usually get from the same place. I was pretty pissed off since I was looking forward to eating a nice meal and not only did they take my points, they did not give me enough food. For fuck's sake just tell me the serving size is going to be smaller if I use points. I'll pay full price and eat a normal meal, nickel and dimeing sometimes dinner is just low

Sounds really annoying. I feel this way whenever I tip beforehand at a pay when you order place and the serving they give me is meager - have stopped going to many restaurants that did this. Fries especially because they’re dirt cheap

Yeah. A restaurant I've been going to frequently for an "all you can eat fish fry" for the last few years has jacked up prices so much and shrunk portions so much that it's not even worth going any more. Prices are literally double what they were when I first started going. Fish pieces are literally half the size now. They start you off with four pieces, then each reorder is only two. I used to only be able to eat six pieces total. Now they've cut the sizes in half and the batter on them is so thick that there's hardly any fish. I would need to reorder four times to get the same meal I did two years ago.

I like how in your first sentence you already start in with the bullshit excuses: >Be lazy and stupid BECAUSE OF LOYALTY POINTS It has nothing to do with just being lazy and stupid, right? >It's the POINTS guise I swear!Go be lazy and stupid somewhere else.

What did you learn from this OP?Stop ordering with delivery apps.Actually, support the restaurant and go to their fucking location. If I were a dictator, I would ban food delivery except for pizza and Chinese.
