My grandma (born in Germany) always had these around Christmas...she called them "Windmill cookies"...so delicious. I forget which brand she got, but all the American brands I have tried since aren't as good

Alright, using 15ml egg and 5g spice mix, I whipped up a rather thick paste and spread it on a cookie. It's slightly more flavorful now, but I expected much more. I obviously didn't use the whole mix on a single cookie, duh.
