I keep coming across it with online recipes. I won't shop at a place that uses it and I wont use a recipe that uses it. I haven't really seen it at restaurants but I don't go out to eat much.

It’s not a novel concept. The first rule of food photography as always been don’t use real food.

Paulie Gee's newer slice shop in the East Village uses this shit and I think it's because the franchisee doesn't give a shit and the main man has no idea about this stuff. Sad to see. damn good pizza though

Personally I think bagels and satanic AI goes hand in hand

Chinese place nearby a place I went to had an AI slop design at their entrance of some woman eating soup with tears running down her eyes and a facial expression that says fearful hysteria instead of "damn this soup is good"!

I refuse to buy anything from a restaurant using obvious AI like that. If your branding is that low effort, your food probably sucks

Ew this looks disgusting

These look like they're from a fucking nightmare dimension. I've never seen a burger I'd actually call evil before.

Why do they think this looks good? It looks terrifying

>are restaurants near you using terrible ai slop too Yeah, but they all run by browns and sell dogshit anyway. Funnily, the best brown run place near me uses fucking bitmojis on their logos/menus.

That's good. Marketing people are expensive and obviously easily replaceable. Low talent group.

I haven't seen it on a menu yet, but my social media has been flooded with slop ads for local restaurants, all of which have that that same overly busy, overly contrasty HDR look like that one. It's fucking awful and I don't understand how they think it looks good or will get them more business than the actual photography and basic Photoshop stuff they'd been doing for decades previously, given that half the population will recognize it as AI instantly and reject it based on that and even the people who don't know it's AI will probably just think it looks disgusting.

>AI food is just as good as normal food, you can't even tell the difference >you just hate it because you can't afford it, poorfag >ovenslop will be obsolete by 2030

couldn't you sue the restaurant for false advertising if the food doesn't look like the sloppa at least the pretty food in fast food commercials actually looks like what it's supposed to represent
