Just eat the fundamental: Protein, carbohydrate, vegetable.
Protien: meat, fish, egg, cheese
Carbohydrate: Rice, potato, pasta, bread
Vegetable: Carrots, peas, etc etcSo long as you just throw together whatever random crap that contains these ingredients you'll be eating reasonably well. It might not be great but as you get used to making it you'll branch out and make something good instead.
