Looks like you didn't get quite full contact on the pan. If you have a spare cast iron pan, you can use that as a weight to make sure the steak gets full contact when searing.

You don't need to add flat leaf ontop as a garnish next time mix it into your pan sauce unless you personally prefer the bite of it raw then carry on
But it is gaudy as is
