Should I go out and finance a $90,000 F150? The options are limitless!

i dont get the american class system. it shouldn't really be based on salary. a low class person can still have money and keep on being low class and the reverse

Congrats man. I started at 65k in late 2023 for my WFH job (my first job out of college). In many ways I got very lucky. The HR lady advocated for me to get the top end of the job's pay scale, and the benefits of WFH are endless. As of now I'm making a little over 70k gross. I'm hoping to get a more significant pay bump soon. My job title is supposed to be changed to a more specialized role that is very high-institutional-knowledge and I'm hoping for the bump to be there. But you know, I'm totally at their mercy here. I'm not gonna proverbially walk out the door even if the title change comes with a 0% bump. What are the odds I'll get a higher paying job with the same benefits especially in this economy?

65k household you will get free tax filing assistance from the govt. The cutoff is like 80k household. Under that and you can get your taxes done for free.
