Depends on the cost basis and where the money is. If the money market is all after tax and the sp500 is mostly roth/after tax then yeah. It obviously can't be be mostly roth though unless you got a ridiculous trade and then locked in. If there is a lot in pretax iras you should fucking retire and take 72t distributions or you will have a big tax bomb when youre older.

If you're 70 and are looking to fund your retirement with the 2 mil in money market funds, then it's a good strat. Otherwise this is not a growth position at all, this will compound quite poorly.
