Calls are just bets shit will go up. It's 50/50 whether something will go up or down. So you have a 50% chance of replicating that

It’s luck anon, that’s what they don’t tell you. Notice he had a draw down of 85%, then it mooned. This guy is literally just gambling on emotions. If you walked into a casino with 69k you might be able to walk out with 200k but eventually you’ll always lose to the house.

Did it in about two months with MU earlier this year. Was up 150%? My idiot ass didn't set stop losses or take profits after parabolic gains. Left with 23k realized gains. I SHOULD have sold my entire personal stake and let the remaining gains ride risk free... Options can be tricky. Many additional variables. I stick with stocks. You should look up US/domestic oil refineries. If you've been laying attention to news headlines at all it was an obvious bet months ago, particularly with the US reserve supply only dwindling never replenishing. Now diesel is sold out AND a US refinery recently had a fire. Refineries are WAY over-bought.... but until people stop buying fuel the stocks will continue to rise. Beard of day trading rules. Easy to replicate but it won't be you. Gambling as they have said. Notice he lost 85% of his money before he hit a 20x. What happens when you get that 85% loss multiple times in a row? If you hit two 85% losses back to back, you're down to 3% (rounded up) of your starting money. A 20x return on that means you're back to 60% of your starting capital.

It's far more heavily weighted towards upside than 50:50 - the issue is that said weighting is factored / priced in at the moment a call is sold, based on multiple mathematic factors (called the 'greeks', as they're all represented by a different greek letter) that prevent callbuying from just being free money.Basically, say you have a stock currently priced at $100 a share, and buy a call option dated to expire a year out that will let you buy that share at $120. A basic understanding is that that call will be profitable / 'in the money' if it's trading above $120 in a year's time... but in actuality that call will be sold to you at a price that gives the seller a premium, where it only ACTUALLY becomes profitable for you, the buyer, if the stock is trading at, say, $124.24 instead - your break-even price again depends on how the greeks work out for the stock, since recent performance and volatility swings heavily factor in, but that's the basic idea.
