I'm not sure what to do about my living situation. Currently I live with roommates in a house in a nice neighborhood. Rent is cheap and I like the location, and for the most part the other tenants have been pretty cool...until recently. I've had problems the past few months with my stuff (food and kitchenware) going missing. And now a new person moved in who has been a nightmare, he moved in a couple weeks ago and has already been more of a headache than any other roommate I've had. He's a control freak who acts as if the house (and especially the kitchen) is his. I'm already sick of the little prick and want out.
Thankfully my lease is up in a couple months...but the problem is I'm a wagie so I don't make much money. I can't afford a nice apartment, the only ones I can afford are the roach motels in shitty areas (and even those are only barely affordable). I almost want to bite the bullet and move even if I'm paying more to live in a worse neighborhood just so I can be alone. On the other hand, staying here so I can continue saving money until I (hopefully) eventually get a better paying job seems like the smarter choice to make. I'm really torn.
