There are only two choices, weaning off over time or cold turkey. Which one is best depends on the kind of person you are. Besides that, the only other thing that matters is if you down sugar to relief some pain or whatever. That's the root of most addictions, so you can't quit them. You just have to become the kind of person who doesn't do xyz. Unfortunately, this is hard and painful. Some practical changes are altering your environment, which ultimately means not giving yourself the option to indulge in the first place. Don't buy shit with sugar, I mean. Anyways. Wish you the best of luck in your endeavour.

Ignore that and bake hella bread. You can do a lot with water, flour, and yeast, depending on how you work it. Fill up on that so you haven’t much room for sugar.

Take the sweetenerpill. There's zero downside to chugging like five of these per day. >B-but I heard it was bad because... It's 99%+ water. Look up what happens when you boil a can of zero zero zero vs. regular coke.

Just get to a point where you do cardio enough that eating all that sugar is a good thing

Man I miss Obama. Anyway the true redpill for this is to just stop. It might not sound like what you were looking for but I promise you if you just stop for like a few weeks then you won't even crave it anymore. I went from daily juices and sodas to carbonated water to exclusively drinking plain water, and I don't crave sugary drinks anymore

They make sugar-free ice cream, you know. Or if you can't find it, you can make your own.

Look in the mirror at your disgusting fat gut, stand there naked and realize everyone how consciously recognizes your existence is disgusted by how sloppy you are. Then with newfound resolve to make yourself into a respectable human being, discipline yourself to only consume a small amount of sugar after dinner only IF you exercised that day. It must be a reward, not a habitual given. Eventually your saturated taste buds will return to a normal baseline, when anything more than a small amount of ice cream will be overwhelmingly too sweet and literally unpleasant. Then you made it. Learn discipline or be a disgusting slob, your choice.

Look's like Obama's enjoying some ice cream of his own there.

I haven't been able to. When I'm doing well I don't buy things like fruit snacks or soda, pop tarts, stuff that has zero nutritional value but I can't shake chocolate. When I'm feeling shitty I reach for something sweet. Savory stuff is gross when I'm in a bad headspace.

>How do I get rid of my sugar addiction? Read Dune. Imagine you're Paul getting the Gom Jabbar pressed into his neck. Are you thinking about the pain in your hand or the needle in your neck? If you're thinking about the pain in your hand you are basically on the level of a dumb animal who can't learn to reason.

What has actually helped me is thinking that every dessert or sweet junk food I put into my body will get me one step closer to diabetes, so basically scare yourself by thinking you will get diabetes soon even if you aren't!! Give yourself saccharophobia and the fear of sugar!

Sugar is addicting but it doesn’t have withdrawals other than cravings. And the cravings only last about three days.Cook your own food, boiling chicken and rice with some salt and pepper is a meal you can easily eat for three days. Make chili with no sugar in it.And stop buying soda. Switch to tea with no sugar.
