Should I hate myself if I'm in my late 30s and have never dated and am somebody who wasn't made for love? It feels like people like me are side characters who shouldn't have been born. Yeah I know people will tell you that your relationship status isn't everything but those are empty words in the society we live in where everything else says otherwise.

I mean, everybody else hates you, why would you, the only person capable of loving you, have a good reason to hate you?People here seem to imply making friends is as easy as greeting them. Because I know it's not that easy, perhaps it's a cultural thing and you should best move to the first world. My brother is an absolute asshole, narcissistic and with low self esteem, I hate his emotional absence, but he seems to be doing well socially despite being an ass. These problems are always complex. You must tell whether the environment and the people supporting you are emotionally intelligent, if the environment you work in is stressful or if you're a NEET burning out instead of chilling and progressing. Maybe you had gripes with mainstream hobbies like people here force you to be, but you must spend time in those if you want to bridge people together.Do not take antidepressants, visit a therapist, but don't linger if he only probes and pushes you. Instead do your best to have a good day, no matter how bleak or wasted it seems. If you enjoy it, someone else enjoys it. Do activities outside and find them.

Not for those reasons, no.
