How do I get rid of all my fetishes? I feel like I got dealt a god awful hand with my fetishes, even the one I was born with (and I don't know how I got that one, too, because it's a body part and I hear all the time that there's a sort of cross-wiring or whatever because there's that strip of the brain with all the body parts and this one is almost the furthest away from the genitals which makes no sense, and I know I was born with it because my groin was feeling funny about it since I was little). They're all either weird or illegal and I've had them all for most of my life. I can't talk about them with any sexual partners 'cause they'd think I'm a massive creep or deviant or monster in the making, and even the "normal" ones are just too embarrassing and weird to tell anyone about. I envy normies and I wanna start at zero and be able to get off to regular things. How do I do this? Not jacking off does not help I have tried. Not looking at porn and prayer also has not worked. Please help.

The cool thing about the brain is the more you try to directly fight it the worse things get. Some level of 'pressure release' is normal with sexual shit. Have you tried artistic expression or finding a kinkier and more accepting person? Guaranteeing there's someone out there hornier than you for weirder shit.

Gotta get specific buddy, what exactly are you into? We know feet, which is largely normalized these days, but what about the "learned" behavior?

Just stop watching porn. The point of porn is to slowly warp your sexual taste and break down your inhibitions starting with the most fundamental aberration of all, homosexuality. >Not looking at porn [...] has not worked You haven't gone long enough. It does work, but you have to abstain for a long time, months to possibly years depending on how long you've been consuming it. You probably went a couple weeks max before giving up. It takes up to a month to first feel the effects of quitting porn and several months (minimum) after that to rewire your brain back to normal. It will happen but you have to commit and struggle through it.

You won't get an answer from /adv/. You need to talk to a mental health professional.
