I have the same issue. Idea: you go up to somebody and say "cat taking a bath". While highly improbable, there is a chance you stumble on somebody who has viewed this thread, recognizes it, and willing to talk.Best I can think of

Serious answer in probably a bait thread, but do you even know what you would say of they tried talking to you first? Like hypothetically they do, do you even know how to keep the conversation going? Im assuming not because if you did then youd have an intuitive understanding of how to start conversations

When did the school year start? Chances are, it's already too late, and you've cemented your position as the weird kid in class. Drop out, become a NEET for a year, then try again at a new school.

Just pick the right group and try to approach them without being pushy, even they approach you back (even if rarely) you're in a good spot to ferment a friendship. After I've done that i even got more confident to approach other groups (eve if rarely), that's something I'd never do when I was the quiet faggot kid in the class

Start a Discord, then invite people to get on and share class notes and memes. I did it for all my classes. Makes doing projects wayy easier, and you can get notes if you are absent.
