Summer is starting and my younger brother has got a few hits on his youtube channel. It's nothing life changing but I do know that when people get a whiff of success on the internet they sometimes go trend hopping mad. He's not making a content mill or anything, and I think that the videos he is making are generallly good, I would just like some advice or general stories that could help me in case he weird about it.
Also, the most pratical tip I need is how to skirt around the excuse of "currently making/editing a video" with house chores, as I am currently trying to find a better job on the market and need him to pull his weight at home.

Nothing wrong with pursuing your dreams or doing a side hustle just remind him to not go full time until he makes an actual income and even then it will not be as stable as a traditional job. As for chores if he is editing he can get up and do shit and he can also do them while he is not recording or whatever. Divide up the chores and have him schedule his time to do them. Scheduling will also help him with his video making/editing since time management is an important skill to learn.
