Had a shroom trip 4 years ago. It opened my eyes to many things and increased my self-awareness, and kick started some thinking processes which has led me to realize what's important in life, understand how humans work, understand what I want and overall become more confident in myself. The problem is that it has also made me see the issues in the current world, making me more black pilled. I think the awareness would be useful if I didn't live in this crapsack of a world. What's worse, I've realized that most of the people don't like to look at the reality nor want to do anything to fix things (most people prefer to stay in the predictable, comfortable routine prescribed by their favourite authorities because change or unpredictability is scary and stressful) So I regularly think that maybe I should trip again to maybe get a better perspective to help orient myself. Or maybe I shouldn't. Psychedelics feel like a potential trap and in a way the opposite of what I should actually do, and potentially fuck up your brain if used too much. I feel like too much awareness can be a problem. I might be better off numbing myself like normal people, ignore the ugly realities and try to integrate into the system, pretending like everything is fine. But the more aware I become, the more difficult it becomes to put the genie back into the bottle. It may be too late already, and in that case, why not accelerate myself occasional psychedelics. Or perhaps I should become a politician/activist and actually try to change things. However, I feel like by not playing the politics game as you are supposed to, you are just painting a target on your back, and enabling people making your life miserable. Based on some politician examples, I kinda already see how it would go. I don't like dirty jobs.

Uhm, from what you're posting I'll nay it for another year or two and suggest a lighter dosage than the previous time. I don't believe you're like totally "out of the woods" in terms of societal conditionings bc there's nothing indicating that you'd have the tools to get past them. Psychedelics are bullshit. You're not more enlightened because you became intoxicated. The world has always had problems and always will have. If you were living in a tribe 10 thousand years ago you'd have insomnia because some other tribe could invade and murder your entire community or a fucking lion could eat your head or you could be bitten by a poisonous snake or spider.Every intoxicant from alchohol to weed to mushrooms brings up our anxieties because they fuck with our brain chemistry. You shouldn't do drugs unless: -You're in a great place in your life, in terms of relationship, family, career, friends, hobby -You need to be in the right place, at the right time, with sober people you trust to keep you safe -You need to do a boatload of research to understand the substance -Ideally, you should obtain it from nature yourself (requires a boatload of research)Stick with lucid dreaming for now.
