King of the Streets - no rules MMA on concrete. Completely underground unsanctioned shit. You may not like it but this is what peak athletic performance looks like. KOTS Discussion: Eye Gouge Supremacy Edition! https://youtu.be/II4vHnf1A5E

KOTS is extremely interesting to me, because its completely unfiltered MMA on a hard surface. It proves what works in reality at the expense of the fighters healthWhat I have learnt so far>Kickboxing is basically king >People can get suplexed 5x onto concrete and still get up and fight > Eye gouges work from any angle >Headbutts are fight enders >Biting works >Judo throws off a clinch CAN end you in dominant position to quickly end the fight >Elbows rarely seen unless gnpBut ultimately kickboxing is the quickest way to fight on the street. All fights start in kickboxing range and shooting in to grapple is less appealing on concrete

Lots of people in the YouTube comments who want to watch no rules MMA then get very very upset when some no rules MMA happens

KOTS shouldn't even be illegal literally both fighters consent to it the governments shouldn't give a fuck if 2 dudes wanna fight and a third one wants to pay them for it

What I do find interesting about KOTS is that it to a certain extent redeems all the kung fu "2 deadly for da ring" talk everybody poopooed for years. Things like eye gouges are in fact completely devasting. There's several examples (not only the one from the OP) where arguably an inferior fighter wins because he pulls off an eye gouge or headbutt. Things like that do dramatically change the game. Obviously you still need a decent base in the fundamentals, but still.

do people get blinded by the eye gouging? why would anyone willingly participate in this, fuark

Kudos to those guys, I would not participate in that because I am a pussy/don't want to be maimed for nothing. But it's STILL not a valid self defence thing - fatty went for takedown, if the other guy had a knife, fatty would be dead before he got to eye gouging. So because it's not a valid self def thing (which ultimately differs by scenario - if guns are legal in your place, if you are protecting someone, etc), imo, they're just risking injuries for literally NOTHING. Which, agian, kudos for bravery, but still retarded.

Anon08/01/26, 16:42No.267011
Nah the eye thing is unnecessary

Though I guess it does support the idea that grappling in self def is retarded
