It's because they already received the help. A man is saved in this age by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8-9) in the one, final, effectual sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ (Heb. 10:8-12) dying in his place as a substitutionary offering for sin (Rom. 5:1-10). If he has received the Lord Jesus by faith (John 1:12) in his heart, that sinner is SAVED, and is saved, once for all; finally and forever.Yes, there is suffering, but suffering is not supposed to make a Christian want to stop working for God here on earth, but to make them realize that they are getting too attached to this satanic world and needs to think about what really matters. The Lord will let a Christian suffer to:
a. to make him heavenly-minded.
b. to prove to the Christian that His promises are sure.
c. to make a Christian sympathetic with other people.
d. to allow that Christian to be in a place where he can experience the power of the Holy Spirit. e. to prove His grace is sufficient.Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He died on the cross as a sinless sacrifice for all the sins of the whole world to save you from eternal hell, the punishment for your sins. He was buried, then rose again from the dead. One day you will stand before Him, and He will judge you. You can either repent to God by receiving Him and be saved, or reject Him and go to hell for your sins. The gift of salvation can't be earned, it's a gift: Eph. 2:8-9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”Rom. 10:9: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Confess The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in prayer, that you trust in Him, not your own works. He atoned for your sins on the cross.
