I've always liked walking. My favorite thing to do. I sometimes think about going like forest gump.
I can't remember all the syncs, but i will say that giving food to real homeless people/helping random people can really turn out unexpectedly and make you see things differently. They are on another level of living than regular people whose basic needs are fulfilled.
I once walked past what i thought was, judging from what the corner of my eye caught, an old, poor, withered lady selling knick nacks to get some money. After a few steps of fighting the urge to go about my business, i pulled out some money and turned around. It wasn't an old hag, but one of the most beautiful girls i'd ever seen, a big pure smile across her face. She was handing off some Christian bracelets and wouldn't take my money, she just gave me a bracelet.
Another time i saw two words written with paint on a gate to an abandoned house that separately make little sense but together are a great interpretation key to reality but i cannot explain who would have written them. Now that i think about it maybe that abandoned house was signaling that it's some sort of coven headquarters.

Good thread OP. Walking can be a form of meditation. I've seen so many metaphysical things while out walking by myself or with friends that can't even remember them all. I will say this, though, and anyone that has experienced this same phenomenon will instantly recognize it. Back in my younger days I did a lot of LSD. It was a very common occurrence to be walking with a group of LSD friends on a trail in a park and come across another completely separate group of people ALSO on LSD. This happened to me many times, and no, this was not at a festival or anything like that. These were random summer walks in relatively remote park lands.

I can't think of anything truly unusual i have seen on my walks. I used to find things like phones and wallets and took great pleasure in returning them to their owners. As for crows, the were a few that would roost in the pines in front of my home. I would always greet them "Hi Mr. Crow!" and one of them would follow me on my walks. I always appreciated his company and considered him a good friend.

I have experienced magical things while out for walks. I think night walks are more magical than day walks. But I also think location greatly affects things as well, some routes are more magical than others. Back when I lived in house #1 I walked out at night frequently for a period of about a year and experienced many magical things. But when I had to temporarily move to house #2 and permanently to house #3 I’m not sure I experienced any magical events. House #1 was on the edge of the city and near big fields whereas houses #2 and #3 were more in the middle of their cities, maybe fields and wilderness are more magical. There’s still a small bit of nature on house #3’s route but it’s sandwiched between city. Or maybe how long you live there is a factor, house #1 was my childhood home I lived at for many years with many memories whereas houses #2 and #3 were places I lived at for a couple months and nearly a year respectively. Or perhaps house #1 was closer to an invisible magical thing like a leyline.

One time I was walking in Detroit and singing along to music wearing headphones. I saw a fellow who looked kind of like a rough customer but I was singing "Leroy Brown" by Jim Croce and when i walked by singing "baddest man in the whole damn town" he just smiled like "Yup, that's me, LMAO". One thing about me is I am never accosted while out walking.

Walked 16 miles yesterday. Doing magic at night in somewhere you’re not familiar with is some of the dumbest shit you could ever think of. That being said because it is so dumb it can be really fun, kind of like why somebody might sky dive. I like to start at daybreak though. Walking is great, especially for the average /x/ user. Wether it be magical, comforting or depressing, walks are what brings us to a higher conciousness.
I think everyone on this site can relate to having done a /nightwalk/ atleast once in our lives. We were all doomers, weren't we? Well, I still am, and I still do my /nightwalk/s.

I try to do at least around 4000 steps per day (I know 7000 is the ideal).
As others have said, walking around can be very meditative and if you focus on the details there is always something interesting going on.

I used to walk everyday with my dog. We did that for 9 years or so. Our routes used to vary a lot. Back then, we lived in a busy neighborhood, all concrete and basically no wild life. Then one day, I wasnt even paying attention, but a huge black bird, all wet in a sunny day, stopped right in front of me. 4 days later my dog died in a stupid accident and my life went on a looong way downhill.

I miss walks. I used to live in a walkable neighborhood and used the randonautica app once to choose a random point to walk to. I had set my intention to "see something interesting."Walked like five miles and didn't see shit but on my way home people in weird fancy clothes were pumping gas into a rolls Royce and acting like they didn't want to be seen or looked at.My dogs are getting older I should find a way to go on more walks.
