I'm from Australia. There is a creature who's half man and half sloth/spider/seagul hybrid. It comes at night and creates new tax loopholes so that boomers can keep buying up all the properties but also curses the properties so that anyone who rents these properties turns into an annoying alcoholic bogan. The creature is called Faggotron and can only be slain by the homeless golden abbo that the legends have foretold.

I'm Algerian. There's an epidemic of child abductors who kidnap, torture, and kill children for use in occult rituals. This is actually a very common problem in North African countries and the Middle East in general. The people who perform these rituals get paid huge sums of money by clients who want to become rich, destroy competition, curse someone with disease, force someone to fall in love with them, or cause a couple to divorce.Even though it's considered a serious crime and is heavily punished by law, that hasn't stopped people from doing it. The children who are kidnapped and sacrificed are called "Zouhris"—a term derived from the Arabic word "Zahr," which means luck. They are said to have very specific features, such as ginger or blond hair and light eyes, but most importantly, the lines on the palms of their hands have to be perfectly symmetrical. The abductors often lurk around schools and ask children to show them their hands.Here in Algeria, it got so bad that they reinstated the death penalty for such crimes. There are many other types of occult rituals performed, involving things like feces, gematria, animals, and distorted Quranic verses. A few months ago, people organized a volunteer campaign to clean cemeteries and found almost all of them littered with all sorts of occult trinkets and curse paraphernalia. They found pictures of different victims, so they called in "Raqis" (exorcists) to locate them precisely and exorcise the jinns that were possessing them. Over in Austria we have the "Wolpertinger".
You might have heared of it.
It is an animal only native to south-german and austrian woods and extremely rare.
so rare, people claim, it does not exist.
yet there are indeed displays of stuffed animals which do look very much like the wolpertinger.
rich people came from all around the world only to hunt a wolpertinger. rareley were they lucky to find such a mysterious animal.
it has many different characteristics from different animals. and it can vary in freedom of creative expression on the taxidermist.

when I was traveling in Peru, I saw a ghost.
it was quite eerie.
not the scene, but the feeling emanating from the ghost.
We encountered it crossing a bridge. It was surrounded by mutts. Mutts usually bark. These were completely silent and circeling around the entity.
in all honesty... it is a sad phenomenon.
i learned later that ghosts in general eat humans. it was on the way to the hippie town Pisac, probably to teach its ways there. A good place for such things, indeed. how much i hate Pisac. such shills.

Ireland is full of bogs, bridges, cliffsides, etc that older locals will tell you are dangerous because they're the haunt of a large black dog that stalks and kills people. They're usually popular suicide spots, and the term "black dog" in Ireland and to a lesser extent Great Britain is used as a euphemism for depression and suicidality.
