There is certainly something more at play during these dreams. My dreams would often get so vivid and outright weird that it is near impossible to explain. What I've noticed about wet dreams is they never occur if I've been masturbating. After a week or so of no PMO I start getting these dreams and they feel so real. Like you're actually inserting your penis into a vagina. It is so intense. Also, I once awoke in a state of paralysis and could physically feel something lay down in bed (the mattress fell down as if someone got in bed with me) and put it's hand on my shoulder. I remember wanting to scream, but couldn't open my mouth. Then, I fell forward, as if pushed and immediatelly lost my paralysis. I had this happen to me about 2 weeks ago, I never had a wet dream my entire life. It happened in the night from thursday to friday, the last time I had an orgasm was on monday (sex with my wife).
