I'm looking to get my hands on a specific written piece about the webcomic Erfworld, but I'm struggling here.
It was linked on the main homepage under the "about" or something like that, where the writer clarifies that the world isn't a game, it's a world that runs on a 'game-like system' and goes on to describe how while a game might have a bat move three hexes and then get destroyed by a knight, in a world with a game-like system that same knight killed the bat so he'd have something to eat that night and described it from a ground level close & personal perspective rather than a top down one as if playing Civilization.
If I could even get the old main homepage from the internet archive I could probably find it again pretty quickly myself, but about five years ago the author shut everything down due to personal reasons and redirected the main page and stuff. The wayback machine doesn't have the old version saved that I can see and a bunch of clumsy searching later I've not been able to find it myself from any other source.
Any help please?
