So, is that it? Did anything actually come out of all the doomposting from both the talents and the fans?
I feel like things are dying down now, and soon people will just go back to watching streams like nothing happened.
But then what about Kiara and all the ID? Why does it feel like no one in the company cares about what they think or what this could mean for future? Why not organize some kind of protest against the company or something?
Also, what about you guys? Have you sworn off Hololive yet?

Nothing will happen. People will continue to not watch Kiara and ID and they will eventually fuck off and graduate which is a net positive for everyone else who just keeps streaming normally.

Can't say anything about EN, but as much as IDs might lament the loss of their ID identity, they are already getting visible benefits since the merge

Back when Niji ID and KR got merged, the first few weeks was very positive for them. JP and EN fans flocked to support the ID and KR. Things seemed great back then.
Fast forward a few months, none of them ever came back, and the original fans have left them for other local vtubers.
