Each branch should release a new gen of 4-5 talents (or 3 for ID) once every 2 years. That gives enough time for new talents to get used to the environment, find their niche, get a 3D model, and perhaps perform a concert or two in between. Two years I feel is a good balance between generating hype with new blood and giving that newest Gen the spotlight for as long as possible before becoming stale.

I'd prefer they sort out whatever they need to sort out in order to keep existing talents from wanting to leave but I'm no armchair manager. I like the hit of a new gen and considering how burnt out some girls seem not like it's unique to hololive or vtubing, it's every streamer at some point a moment of "shiny new thing" would be useful for morale, but even now it's losing its punch.

Hololive has been seeing diminishing returns with their recent debuts. they never had seen a superstar since Gura so i can see why they're so reluctant to hire new talents now. that will never change unless they hire the next Suisei or someone who can surpass her in some way.

They probably can't, most of the 5th, X and DEV girls have ended up being waiting rooms for bigger streamers or empty timeslot fillers. It's just consistent viewership cannibalisation at this point. They need to tap into new growth avenues like how Yagoo was talking about investing in Twitch
