Just bought it because i was waiting on a sale 50% off and still feels a bit costly. I played it on release and beta and was almost good but not quite. Then I played a demo weekend and liked it enough for the wishlist but still had QoL missing. Then I went to Discord and they actually updated what I was complaining about, so I guess it's a good time to pick it upI am kinda mad that they took so long to do those QoL when it should've been stuff for release. Its undeniably geared towards a good MP experience but they fumbled their momentum

i tried looking at the steam page and they're talking about it like it's "the final chapter" of tempest rising. when i tried the game on my old pc that could barely run it, i was left with the impression you just have a couple of parallel campaigns from the perspective of each faction, like in red alert 2. are the campaigns supposed to be played in a certain order? might give it another try now that i've upgraded my pc.

The game is good, it has very fun mechanics, but the lead designer Brandon has the stupidiest takes on some topics and makes me realize the game is half good because of him, and most of the QoL of life that the game got was forced over him because CnC games play like shit and he wanted it to play pretty close to that (shit)There are several things that would make the game instantly better but he presents resistance to several ideas like the hotkeys being retarded for a year and you cannot change them, the UI being wonky and won't change it, and balance issues that are obvious but won't change, and several others. And as always, the Discord use is a must to get games going on a small scene, but as always, the gassiest farts are the loudest and either cock suck the dev for good boy points or shut down new blood. The game needs to be half the price at base to start to thrive and who knows if they'll continue expanding it.Also people saying it's a campaign first game and the devs begrudgingly saying its true when it was clearly NOT their intention is the other sad part. They expected a big scene, the game is clearly laid for PVP, but it wasn't as good as it needed to be at release, mainly because super retarded controls that needed to be patched out several times and bad visual unit identity. Yes it got fixed, no it didn't got in time. They need to inject life to it and it could thrive because it IS good, but they also seem to just be giving up and make it a SP game because campaigniggers are loud and the silent majority just dropped it and looked the other way.

I find the game so bland. Barely any cool units or cool voice acting. Boring campaign. Meh cutscenes with only one notable character development that was at least something compared to just simply giving you the objectives or lore drops. Barely any mp features, super low map count for mp and skirmish. Wierd UI. And I hate that the units don't shoot on the move. This game was delayed for I don't even remember how long, I was looking so forward for it and I am/was so disappointed by it. Absolutely mediocre RTS from people that are supposedly rts fans and passionate about cnc. Also the updates are slow as fuck, i wonder if they even care about this game anymore, they might be keeping it on life support while working on another game. I'd only buy it on a discount. Don't know about any new stuff tho I haven't played this in months.

The game is amazing, keeps getting QoL updates and balance is better each patch. Only sad thing is lack of new maps for PvP. Singleplayer fags are pretty loud sadly and them making this campaign took away from us getting maps. But the MP scene is somewhat alive, good players still play ladder.
