Say one was theorycrafting a custom nation for regular HoI4, namely a formable nation as a puppet of a major. Should they just get the same MIOs or get their own? Do puppets that have similar MIOs, like Belgium and Belgian Congo that both have FN Herstal share MIO progress, or are they effectively two different MIOs that just share names?I realize I could probably answer some of these by testing in game, but I'm doing back to back 12 hour shifts through the weekends and this is how I pass the time in my downtime.

Why is the Amerikka update taking so long anyway? They aren't reworking the ACW from the scratch, so they don't need to create new minigames ane UIs for it, it's just new tags, so mostly cosmetic stuff and lore.How the fuck you need 3 years to deliver this? New player, maybe you guys can help. Just got the game last week and I keep getting crushed because it seems like the stats like soft attack and breakthrough/defense for enemy armies is constantly at insane values like 400+. I understand if I have less soft attack than an enemy has defense/breakthrough I do like 10% damage. What do I do here? I'm building my divisions like a person naturally would, I'm adding some extra inf regiments and some line artillery with engis and hospitals but it never seems like enough.Everything I look up online has people suggesting these insane looking meta templates that I dont really have an interest in using or would have a hard time even fielding, like 12 inf + 8 AT per infantry division. I dont know how people are supplying 360 AT guns per division and using ridiculous meta templates like that just seems kinda immersion breaking if you know what I mean. It feels like paradox balanced the AI around players using ridiculous meta templates like that and so any new player who comes by and tries making a normal sane division just gets stomped.
