This game is so overengineered that making expansions for it and then trying to balance them is a whole project. I guess they just couldn't do it while being busy with Retold. I see they're adding a mode where you don't use shipments and have reworked civ bonuses instead, and that alone sounds like a ton of work.

What sort of composition are you meant to make with these two civs? For the poles i've mostly used their light inf + retainers to screen for cavalry. The danes though don't really seem to have anything too unique.

I just tried playing a ranked 3v3 at 900elo Got teamed with 2 guys who didn't know how to play against an organized stack that dogpiled me 10 minutes in as Italy My team even had a few units but didn't see or care about what was happening outside their bases It reminded me why this game isn't popular, although it extends to every rts, 1v1 is too sweaty with the most boring decks, and in 3v3 you have to be prepared to play 1v5. I guess the problem is that i just can't afford to get good at this game anymore, it also doesn't helps how much it apparently is going to remain the undesired child of the franchise forever, why should i dedicate limited time to a game that has broken shit to this day when WE already showed what can be done if they actually care with Retold?
