I had a Three Houses dream last night. Which is odd, I haven't thought about Three Houses much lately at all, so I'm posting it here before I forget it all. It's sappy fanfic nonsense, though, so sorry about that.Dimitri and Edelgard are sharing a quiet moment alone during that mid-part-1 party I forget the context of. Out on a bench in the middle of the night. I think there was some shenanigans to get them there, there'd have to be, but they're there now so whatever. Edelgard's cagey and stand-offish, while Dimitri's trying to make small talk and pretend he's a normal person, as you do. He brings up their time as kids, brings up the dagger, and Edelgard get's that AM realization now instead. It devastates her. Turning towards him in completely unguarded shock, then turning away in blatant misery. Emotional mask got shook hard. >...why? Why does it have to be you? Why do I only learn this now, when...when it's too late. It's far too late...too cruel...this is too cruel...Dimitri, still pretending to be a good boy, reaches for her haaaand and takes it, which shocks her all over again. Calls her El, asks if she wants to talk about it. Kinda tripping into all the flags. After a long moment she admits she does, but can't. It'd be too dangerous, they could become enemies on the spot. Her face is hidden, that camera trick where a character's bangs hide their expression, but she's clenching her teeth, squeezing her eyes shut, inner conflict apparent. Dimitri leans down and sneaks a peek and recognizes exactly what this is, trying to hold in and cover up deep emotional trauma. There's a shot of some rusty, grime-covered gears shifting a bit and turning a little. He makes some pledge that he won't just attack her or something, no matter what it is, it was pretty vague. Squeezes that hand. And against all her better judgement, Edelgard agrees and starts talking.

So I finally went back and beat the last two paths in Three Hopes. >Azure Gleam AG remains my favorite path, as does Dimitri as my favorite House leader. I do wish we got to see Boar Dimitri again, but I understand why not. Story was okay. I thought baby-Edelgard was kind of weird and I really dislike the Hegemon Edelgard tease when nothing came of it. Would have been an interesting twist to have that form pop up as early as it did, but for her to be stuck in that form while still controlling the Empire. >Scarlet Blaze SB I actually liked a bit more than Edelgard's story in Three Houses. Maybe because she is not working with those who slither in the dark in SB. I still think her logic towards the Central Church is flawed, but at least she is not so brain-dead as to actively work with the real bad guys this time. Although if she WAS still working with them, a cool twist could have been reviving Nemesis and the 10 Elites as allies for the final assault on the Central Church. >Golden Wildfire GW was a bit of a step-down compared to Claude's story in Three Houses. Claude went from really just wanting answers to a having a hate-boner for the Central Church. While I appreciate a more darker take on him, like sacrificing Randolph or betraying the Empire, him crowning himself as King of the Federation just did not feel like Claude. The Kingdom is not Leicester's real enemy nor aggressor. A better plan would be allying with a crippled Kingdom, but making them detach from the Central Church.

You guys might be able to help me solve this one.Currently doing a Solo Rinkah run. Others can heal, dance, and even take some hits (otherwise it'd be impossible), but only Rinkah can attack.Corrin still has 1 Concoction.Baiting any of the enemies guarantees that you'll get hit by four hits, as the mages all do double attacks. Corrin can survive with a miss or using the HP+5 tonic. No one else can take it.Once you bait the enemies, four more mages spawn in each corner of the map.Thanks to doubling, Rinkah can take out 1 mage per turn, leaving her at very low hp.Is this impossible?

I stand corrected chapter 20 is by far the worst map so far in this hack and one of the worse maps I have ever played in FE. Its the literal Fuhrerbunker as a map and actually worse than 24x because unlike that map if I recall you can actually avoid the warp traps but in this map unless you have a character with super canto to unlock the final door you will get someone stuck in the warp trap which then summons fuck you reinforcements. Here's the real question: What are some the worst fire emblem hacks, especially recently? Bonus points if it's a popular hack that you think is overrated. I actually don't hate this one too much (not really interesting gameplay-wise, and it's cringy), but I remember OC Emblem having some pretty weird drama surrounding the Jeigan character, which the creator had to replace. Also it's economy is probably one of the worst in any hack, period.

Can we all agree that Genealogy has the worst(or at least most frustrating, if worst is too hard of a sounding word) gameplay in the entire series?1. Ridiculously and unnecessary large maps with a lot of empty space in it where nothing happens, like a fire emblem's version of bad open world game, forcing you to waste many turns just to traverse through it, even with horse only units. 2. Despite the aforementioned problem, the game has an excess of infantry units you feel like benching, because of how much slog is moving them is. 3. Ayra and Jamke feels like one of the strongest units of first generation, besides Sigurd himself, but once again, since they are horcecels you can't really use them comfortably. 4. Everything that is related to items and money distribution. Huh? What's that? You get that cool magic ring that you want give to Ethlyn, but it's end up in Sigurd inventory after defeating an enemy? Well hope you like to waste additional 10k to give it to her! The only way of sharing gold is either between married couples or with help of communistpilled thiefs(that you only get 1 per generation and that only can give away ALL his money at once instead of some fixed number) is also doesn't fucking help. 5. Second attack from high speed is a skill for some fucking reason in this game. 6. On chapter 4 you are going to lose 3 really decent units, 1 of which is literally the only troubadour of first gen, so the game basically forces of usage of infantry onto you. And no, you don't get any sorts of compensation for that, should've pay these 10k for Beowolf, loser! 7. Grinding local support points is basically mandatory, you also expected to do it right - with the appropriately selected couple, otherwise you just really fucking yourself over when you going to start the second gen.
