They should allow you to keep worlds saved up where you can make multiple separate colonies that don't need to interact with each other but allow you to have a select group of xenotypes and ideoligions in them. Like customize your world so that it has X% of each xenotypes and within factions respective percentages of ideoligions. There should also be a sort of "hostility" mechanic between them to direct wars instead of there just being permanent bandit or settler factions, like imagine factions took territory from each other and slowly made peace treaties and specific invasions with surrendering towns instead of constant raids in all directions by just a few bandit factions, and the big factions would coerce you into giving them tribute or levies for their battles

Rimworld is lacking in general when it comes to diplomacy and factions interacting with each other (and the player tbdesu), and that’s with mods like Rimwar and whatnot. Honestly Tynan should copy those mods next and give us an actual reason to open the world map. That’s one of the major edges DF has over RW, DF’s world actually feels alive.
Also saving a world is a great idea mostly because I’m tired of having to regenerate a world completely when I fuck up or forget something when creating an ideology.
