>Set it decades after societal collapse.
>The Infection has waned with a lack of easily available hosts to infect, but it's not going away anytime soon.
>Scale of the map is small to medium. The setting takes places inbetween a few close-by cities, or a really big metropolis.
>Survivors have already begun to rebuild civilization in little enclaves that have specialized in surviving in different ways.
>One enclave has taken over an arms manufactury plant and are the only faction that has easily available access to firearms but must scavenge and raid for food. Another consists of remnants of the police force settlinjg in the outskirts of the city and devolving into feudal knights, herding survivors into their protection in exchange for the goods they might grow.
>Infected come in several varieties, but are either lone stragglers or come in massive hordes.
>Raiders come in much smaller groups, but their firearms are almost always lethal.
>Death for All mod to make death amount troops/named NPCs much more common.
>Disallow the player from hiring/recruiting unnamed NPCs. Only companions are available and you need to gear them uop yourself.
>New Skill adding firearms, plus Firearms needing to be stocked with ammunition post-battle, which must be carried by the player's party.
>General objective is to survive, but the grand ending is managing to unite the groups of survivors and secure trade routes between enclaves to drive back the infected in a more permanent manner.
