Or sometimes it's just interesting character arcs with the U.S. presidents or Chita. Or sometimes it's just an exploration of the deeply dysfunctional systems of Nazi governance or the Japanese YSK. Or sometimes it's just a weird system of governance that arose as consequence such as Guangdong, half the Russian warlords and Italy.Shit like Burgundy, Atlantropa, the Mars landing, etc, even if extremely unrealistic adds more to these narratives. In the case of Nazi horrors, it sets the initial tone of dread and despair. For shit like the Mars landing it establishes the idea that even in a seemingly doomed world, no matter what, progress can be made beyond that of what we personally have. And even then, the entire premise is unrealistic as shit, so if you can suspend your disbelief for that, there's nothing stopping you from doing the above.

The Uruguay skelly rework will be coupled with False Dawn, Argentina's update.
