I’ve finished Act 1 in Pathfinder, mostly played to test builds and learn the game systems. I’ve done a lot of research on the Pathfinder 1E rules and decided to go with a Battle Oracle Angel build. I plan to restart the campaign from scratch, applying everything I’ve learned.
I’m aiming to play on the Core difficulty, but I’ve seen many people say it’s not recommended for beginners—so, I’ve made a few adjustments (pic) to create a "custom-Core" setup. Do you think this will be manageable? Also, should I set enemy critical hit damage to weak or keep it at normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated—thanks in advance!

You can adjust the difficulty during the game so it's really not a big deal. I started on daring and finished on a custom hard+Battle oracle angel is pretty strong so you'll probably want to up things to core once you're a few mythic levels in.

Oracle is such a stupid class. Yes, it's busted good, but what the fuck is it even supposed to represent? Such stupid bloat in Pathfinder.
After I finished the game with a custom party, I tried solo'ing it with a gestalt char paladin/oracle and it was absolutely disgusting, I couldn't even finish that run

My suggestion
Do not embark on the path of restartitis. You will never stop, you will never get to the actual game. You will always see something you could have improved and want to restart just to do it better or try something different.

Never played WotR. Do you *need* to play Kingmaker to enjoy this?

you can't get any real enjoyment out of sperging until you already know the game (like, e.g. the obscure spread of 5 items that makes some stupid build work and which could not possibly be predicted when you start blind), so just stick to a single class on a comfortable difficulty. If you're sperg enough for a replay that's when you can put the pedal to the metal

I wanna play on Unfair, but the only viable build i can come up with is Witch of the Veil Invisibility abuse. Is there something else besides that which specs into Lich?

Pathfinder games exemplify the timeless quote:
An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity.

Excuse me, I meant Pathfinder “products”, I didn’t mean to call them games.

Is demon the Devilman path or just a regular dickhead path?

The whole game is an if-then gate. If you have the right buffs and abilities, the game is laughably easy. If you don't, it's unplayable. It doesn't really matter if the enemies crit is weak or normal. What will determine if you win are things like "do I have a buff that blocks that spell" and "can I target flat footed/touch AC". In fact, the touch AC is probably the primary thing to worry about. If you can target touch AC, you will win every fight.
