I think CDPR are just a bunch of tech autists. Given the progression of CP77, they probably just wanted Witcher 3 to have all the fancy nvidia bells and whistles irregardless of the end product.

Ok guys, 1st time W3 player here (having played 1 and 2) and still in the beginning: Is the remaster worth it or should I revert back to 4.04? I got it for free, so no biggie.I've read the bug fixes in the changelog, I've seen in-game the expanded talent trees and all, but also the whole game feels kind of....desaturated visually? It might depend partly on the rig, idk. Also, I imagine a lot of mods got broken after the update so less pool to choose from. What's your opinion then?

Witcher 3 is an enjoyable game. Nothing to hate here but imagined shadows. That said it is an old game and we have all played it ages ago so not much point talking about it.

I already played w3. The path tracing changes require hardware I dont have access to The dlc might be interesting but thats next year and this is one of the most overwhelmingly stacked game release period in years. I might dl the game and check it out in half a year.

Screenspace reflections might be the single most demanding setting that's not raytracing/pathtracing. And it's always eating the same performance even when there's nothing being reflected.

Kek, the remaster is such a buggy mess with clothes that often don't load correctly. After the Skellige scene where Yen and Geralt bone on the unicorn, Yen's clothes didn't load and she walked back into the banquet hall naked.
