You got ripped off. I played half of W2 and got my moneys worth, and I refunded W3 at character creation

I think I bought it on steam with both the expansions for like $15, but the base game is well worth the $20.Both expansions are divisive. One encourages you to switch out your weapons for non-lethals ones where damage doesn’t matter and you stack stun effects, but the story is good. The other sends continuous waves of enemies at you, and the story is pretty mid.

I thought it was a painfully mediocre and boring game. Only the combat is decent and its still not as good as the best gamey RPGsIts one of the ugliest looking games too, the art & character design team should be hanged.

i played it at release and had a lot of fun, reminded me of fallout 2. but there's a lot of questionable design choices in the game. i want to see wasteland 4, but they should hire better devs and writers

I really enjoyed the choice & consequence aspect, the faction reputation system and the overall grim vibe. Pretty much everyone is a cunt, pretty much every choice you make is bad in some way, yet you gotta do your best to make things work - not everyone's cup of tea, but I loved that. My main issue was with how short and barebones the game felt, even with the tiny ass world there's entire areas with basically nothing to do.

Sure, great game. I don't know that I'd want to play it on console though.

I thought wasteland 2 sucked because it kept forcing me into shitty combat encounters not allowing me to avoid any and explore the world and gain some xp that way so dropped it in a few hours. Does this game actually allow exploration or railroad you into a combat grind from moment one?

Is this an ironic anti Game Stop thread
