This game is stupid in the best way possible. It captures that childhood spirit of playing pretend. You build overpowered garbage that shatters the universe in half. I really need to get back into it.

I beat the game and got another 100 floors past that iirc. My biggest bottleneck was that I had so many turn zero auto combos that I hit the game engines safety limit and it always cut me off early. This was still nowhere near reaching end of game content lol

And it’s not really like you unlock things, most of the game is before the final boss. And then afterward you get one new superboss every 50 levels for a long time. Plus one new mechanic every 400 floors or smth

This is an amazing game but I wish I wasn't so tired so I could talk more about it. Tempted to just wait for 3.0 since trying to create a Mermaid team is making me scratch my head and burn out. My last team was an amazingly fun Cataclysm team. They're new and I'm surprised someone backed such a fun idea and cool monsters. The mermaid ones are not as interesting but maybe something will click with me if I keep thinking up ideas

Waiting for 3.0 to pick this up again. Played just the story with reaver but fights would take a long time. Pyro seems like the consensus beat the story quick start.
