I'd probably choose Final Fantasy X-2.

Am I reincarnated as Tidus or am I still me? I'd definitely drown if I tried that with my real body.

The G in RPG already stands for Game. You don't have to say "RPG game", it's just "RPG".

If I can go back and forth between the worlds, Fallout/Underrail. I could buy some nice tech while getting a quick buck selling fruit or something.

Suikoden no doubt , its cozy, high fantasy, extremely diverse and light hearted but there is enough tragedy and drama to keep things interesting I think I ended up moving to rural France because I got groomed into cozy medieval towns by this franchise

My answer is always Legend of ManaChill, comfy world with lots of places to go, no real world-destroying threats, not even a conquering empire, you can just hang out with penguin pirates or learn magic or make instruments all day

if it counts, pokemon is the easy answer if you want more jrpg/western rpgs specifically well damn, a lot of them suck in one way or another to live in. Mass Effect maybe

Assuming they still work like the actual games so my knowledge of the mechanics is still worth a damn, Pokemon HGSS is my go to. I've thought about how I'd go about it a lot too, mostly back when I was obsessed with the games >Live in Goldenrod specifically >Big place, there's gotta be a vacant house or apartment somewhere and if its expensive I surely know enough about pokemon battling to make enough eventually. Worst comes to worst, sleep in its pokemon center, the world in general should be friendly enough for that if I need it >Has a department store, immediate access to most basic and semi-advance supplies, no badges required >Has a game corner for entertainment, I actually like voltorb flip so even if that remains the only option it is An Option. Plus the prizes include Pokemon so I wont need to leave the town to chance catching a pokemon on my own >Bike shop, even if I dont get protag priveledge the option remains and it might even be decent enough work if battling doesnt work out >Gym, good place to train and get a potential first badge. Also whitney's cute, thats a plus >GTS if that still functions in an isekai, I might not ever have to leave town to trade or battle people >Entire underground shopping area for more niche, timed things >Daycare to the south, Pokeathelon and National Park to the north. Dont need to go far at all for other facilities >Bill frequently visits, and is usually breeding eevees like the weirdo he is, but I wont call him that to his face because he gives em out to anyone who wants one. Who needs a professor, yo dont need protag power for a free starter eevee >Magnet Train to connect directly to Saffron City, which is comparable to Goldenrod in scale >It's even just a stones throw away from Celadon, the REAL Goldenrod of Kanto, and Vermillion City, a port town >It has a nice theme song too And Im probably still forgetting a few other bonuses

Do I get to be the hero with superpowers or am I just me? If I'm just me, whatever Star Trek RPG exists because that's a utopian post-scarcity society where I can live well without worry of starvation or danger. Plus I could travel space if I'm feeling adventurous.

from a realistic perspective: >hyperdimension neptunia rebirth 3 to spend my isekai seikatsu with waifus. from a more fun perspective: >morrowind for the crazy mechanics.

It's kind of funny that most RPG worlds are actual hellscapes. You're best bet if you get isakai'd into a game is one of the worlds where just knowing shit makes you powerful like elder scrolls. I also think Mass Effect would be pretty nice post reapers. I vote Sequel. I either die via snusnu or I end up with a harem of super powerful women protecting me.

Elder Scrolls. Magic is readily available and can be learned by anyone who cares to, you can just go to College of Winterhold and buy your first spell from the guy at the bridge and they'll give you a free comfy dorm room with no obligations.

Would Star Wars count or does it have to be an RPG original?
